HOW TO BEAT MAN-TO-MAN PRESSING FROM A GOAL KICK? ⚽️ A risky but clever build-up idea from Jonatan Germano. Instead of the traditional GK + 2 CBs setup: ➡️ One CB moves into the wide area ➡️ The fullback moves into the middle ➡️ The opponent has to decide how aggressively to press Option 1️⃣ — They don’t commit another player You have a numerical advantage in the first line. Use the spare player to build up. Option 2️⃣ — They send another player to press The numerical advantage shifts higher up the pitch. They don’t jump → play through the first line. They jump → exploit the free player higher up. The risk? Losing the ball close to your own goal. The reward? Breaking the press and attacking the space behind it. Attract the press → identify the spare player → exploit the advantage. #BuildUpPlay #FootballTactics #PositionalPlay #FootballTraining #FootballCoach
