4 cinematic camera shots that instantly improve your videos. Save this for your next shoot 🎥 1. Reflection: this is probably the most interesting out of them all because of how rare they are. It’s a combination of knowing where the sun will be, how the sky looks, and the position of your camera in relation with the water and the subject. 2. Low Dirty: Low because it’s a low angle with the camera close to or on the ground slightly tilted up to give the subject a sense of power. Dirty because the frame is dirtied with objects (such as leaves) which slightly obscures your vision of the main subject. 3. Credit Card: The credit card shot is a staple when capturing details of an object in a subjects hand. The camera is placed to the side of the subject while framing over the shoulder or bicep. 4. Silhouette: this shot directs so much focus to the back ground (beautifully lit sky) and foreground (dark mysterious subject)at the same time. These shots are usually in every DP’s reel and they show how beautiful the sky is at sunset.
