Start by washing and prepping your vegetables. 2. Dice the Roma tomatoes, tomatoes on the vine, onion, and bell pepper. 3. Slice the tops off the garlic heads, just enough to expose the cloves. 4. Add all of the vegetables to a baking dish. Drizzle generously with olive oil and season with thyme, oregano, red chili flakes, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. 5. Roast at 425°F for 35–40 minutes. 6. Once the vegetables are done roasting, transfer everything to a pot except the garlic heads. Add the juices released from the vegetables, along with the tomato paste and chicken broth. 7. Give everything a stir, then squeeze the roasted garlic cloves into the pot. Add the basil, 1½ teaspoons salt, 1 tablespoon onion powder, 1 tablespoon garlic powder, ½ teaspoon thyme, 1 tablespoon chicken bouillon, and a small Parmesan rind. 8. Stir, cover, and simmer over medium heat for 15 minutes. 9. Transfer everything to a blender, or use an immersion blender, and blend until smooth. 10. Stir in the heavy cream and mix until well combined. 11. Garnish with a drizzle of heavy cream and fresh basil. Enjoy with a delicious pepper jack and Gouda grilled cheese sandwich! #tomatosoup #soupseason #recipesoftiktok #fall #cozyrecipes
